Mason Sand Delivered in Plantation, FL, starting at $39/ton

The ground here is sandy ground over limestone that holds water after rain, so build the planting layer up a few inches and grade it so beds don't sit wet.

Much of Plantation sits low near the water, and washed mason sand still works clean on damp ground — it screeds level for pool bases and paver joints and drains instead of holding water.

Around Plantation: October–May.

Above-ground pool base

24 ft circle × 2 in

≈ 4.5 tons

Screed dead level and compact lightly — hollows under the liner show forever.

Paver joint sweep

400 sq ft × 1 in

≈ 2.0 tons

Sweep dry sand into the joints, compact, and sweep again until they stay full.

Mortar and stucco work

3–10 yards

≈ 3–10 yards

Keep the pile covered — wet sand throws off mortar proportions.
