How delivery works

Sizing Mason Sand for your project

Full Mason Sand specs

Above-ground pool base

24 ft circle × 2 in

≈ 4.5 tons

Screed dead level and compact lightly — hollows under the liner show forever.

Paver joint sweep

400 sq ft × 1 in

≈ 2.0 tons

Sweep dry sand into the joints, compact, and sweep again until they stay full.

Mortar and stucco work

3–10 yards

≈ 3–10 yards

Keep the pile covered — wet sand throws off mortar proportions.

Mason Sand vs Concrete Sand — which do you need?

Mason Sand

Choose mason sand for mortar, stucco, paver joints, and pool bases — the fine, even grain screeds smooth and packs tight.

Concrete Sand

Choose concrete sand for bedding and mixes that need drainage — the coarser washed grain compacts predictably and lets water through.
