The ground here is sandy ground over limestone that holds water after rain, so build the planting layer up a few inches and grade it so beds don't sit wet.

Drainage & flood

Parts of Homestead sit low near the water, so when grading, slope material away from the house and footings to manage runoff in the rainy season.

How delivery works

We deliver with a tri-axle dump truck — it needs about 12 ft of gate width and 14 ft of overhead clearance. You don't need to be home: mark your drop spot with a cone or spray paint and we'll text photo proof when it's done.

Red Clay vs Baseball Clay — which do you need?

Red Clay

Choose red clay for infields, arenas, and packed surfaces you grade and maintain yourself — it binds tight and sheds rain once compacted.

Baseball Clay

Choose baseball clay for a ready-blended infield mix — the sand, clay, and silt ratio is already set for a ball field.
