What to know about Gotha

Local ground

The ground here is deep ridge sand that drains almost instantly, so a planting layer needs compost worked in to hold water and nutrients instead of letting them leach straight through.

Drainage & flood

The ground here sits higher and drier than the coast, but grading to drain still matters for the intense summer rains.

Best months to install

Around Gotha: October–May.

How delivery works

We deliver with a tri-axle dump truck — it needs about 12 ft of gate width and 14 ft of overhead clearance. You don't need to be home: mark your drop spot with a cone or spray paint and we'll text photo proof when it's done.

2–5 yards

≈ 2–5 yards

Baseball Clay vs Red Clay — which do you need?

Baseball Clay

Choose baseball clay for infield skins, mounds, and plate areas — the blend is ready to spread, grade, and compact.

Red Clay

Choose red clay for arenas, paths, and surfaces where you set your own blend — it costs less per ton and binds hard on its own.
