Concrete & asphalt aggregate
Workhorse coarse aggregate for ready-mix concrete and asphalt mixes. Strong, clean, and sized for excellent bonding and load distribution in slabs and pavement.
Driveway base & top course
Use as a 4"–6" compacted base for residential driveways or as a clean top course over a finer road base. Compacts firm but drains well — best of both worlds.
French drains & subdrains
Clean ¾" stone is one of the best choices for medium-flow drainage systems and stormwater infiltration. Wraps perforated pipe with high void volume.
Pipe & culvert backfill
Bed and surround larger utility pipes, culverts, and stormwater structures. Angular interlock supports the pipe; absence of fines keeps drainage open.

#67 stone is a ¾" crushed stone meeting ASTM D448 #67 gradation. It is the most widely used coarse aggregate in concrete and asphalt production, and it doubles as drainage stone and driveway base. Cleaned of fines, it drains fast and compacts firm.

Both are common coarse aggregates with a ¾" top size. The difference is in the fine end of the gradation: #57 has slightly more variation in particle size (some up to 1"), while #67 is more consistent and contains a touch more smaller material. For most homeowner applications they are interchangeable.

Yes. As a 4"–6" compacted base, #67 makes an excellent residential driveway. For best results, lay it over a compacted lime rock base or road base — that combo gives you a strong base with a clean, draining top course.
